Mercury Class Yacht Racing Association

The Northern California Fleet showed up to this event!  There was a familiar feel to the venue from the recent Spring Mercury series.

The participants we able to race under the rapidly shifting conditions that the estuary offers.  This led to upwind legs with lead changes that would impress SailGP commentators.  That was how the day started out but as the fleet settled in there was a strong trend that was hard to deny.  West and Hansen were dueling it out to an exciting rule-based finish.  The results are below but the fun was in the racing.  Looking forward to Huntington lake.

We would all wish to thank Arron Lee for running this regatta and hope that next year we can add to the series to create a running start to the second half of the Mercury Calendar.
