With all this rainy weather, the Cabrillo Beach YC was able to run a two day regatta. Several other clubs cancelled their regattas.There were three races on Saturday and three on Sunday.
Saturday was in an East wind which is not normal for the area.The breeze was about 5-7 knts. Mike Burch won the first two races and Tom Priest won the third race. Sunday the breeze was in a more normal direction, but still the same velocity, but dropping in the third race. Mac Kilpatrick won race 4, Eric Conn won race 5 and Greg Clark won race 6. There was one throwout in the scoring. Congratulations to Burch for winning the Midwinter Regatta. Many thanks go to the CBYC for conducting the event.
